Governing your use of Octadock and this website. Last updated 6 July 2026.

These terms govern your use of the Octadock software and this website. Your use of the software is also governed by the license agreement; if the two conflict on a software-licensing question, the license agreement controls.

1. Who we are

Octadock is an independent product made and sold by Surus Labs. Contact: support@octadock.com.

2. Using Octadock

You may download and trial Octadock for free for 14 days without an account or a card. Continued creation beyond the trial requires a valid license; existing artifacts remain available to view and export. You agree to use the software lawfully and not to misuse the licensing, activation, or update mechanisms.

3. Purchases and billing

Licenses are sold through Stripe Checkout. The price shown at checkout is what you pay. The Octadock Local license is a one-time payment; the optional annual updates renewal, if you choose it, is billed separately. Refunds are covered by the refund policy, and your identity for support and billing is your license key plus purchase email, as described in the privacy policy.

4. Third-party services

Optional features can connect to third-party providers (an AI CLI you install, OpenAI, ElevenLabs) using your own accounts and keys. Those providers bill you directly under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their charges, availability, or output. Payment is processed by Stripe and email is handled by FastMail, each under their own terms.

5. This website

This site is provided for information about Octadock. We try to keep it accurate, but content may change, and some items (the download build, its published hash, the live checkout link) are marked as pending while we finalize them. Do not rely on a pending item as if it were live.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and its legal review progress. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. Continuing to use Octadock after an update means you accept the updated terms, to the extent the law allows.

7. Governing terms and your rights

Nothing in these terms removes the mandatory consumer rights the law gives you. Where a mandatory rule that applies to you conflicts with these terms, that rule prevails. The governing law and venue will be stated in the lawyer-reviewed version that replaces this draft.
